The act of "saving" another from whatever unseen

The act of "saving" another from whatever unseen demons one conjures and voices one hears is the road to hell paved with good intentions. Everyone goes home and lives to see another day. Their pocketbooks will swell or diminish in direct proportion to the contests won. We take the competition to task for not believing what we believe; therefore NIKE FREE RUN,they are the heathen enemy. Of course Hollywood always takes liberties with a good story and this one is no different, but the point is that the team's success or failure is taken to heart by those in that city and throughout their unfulfilled lives it is one thing that they can point to as a personal possession, a measure of success. If others do not conform to our standards and anger us past a certain point we will indeed position ourselves within an arm'Nike TN Requin Classic Homme s length and show them how mighty we really are. The real world is much more lawless and insecure, but still fed by emotional rantings that can start the violence and then depending on who is backing whom, the outcome is always paid for by the ones who can do the least about the situation. More on unseen voices and demons later.I'm not suggesting that sports fans are supporters of murderers. The principles of these games transfers to our everyday lives and to those who we empower to do the work of government, corporations, and business. In the real world where real blood is shed, there are lives lost and families decimated. Beware of rabid devotion. My own brother will not watch this movie to this day as he is a Giants fan. We keep up with the scores in the papers every day, opinionating and using it for fodder for the water cooler klatches. The divisive forces are building within this country as well. They react with and to instinctive human behavior in a competition set up with rules and regulations and more importantly-referees, without whom utter chaos will break out on any given play. We become the essence of what that team is without ever suiting up, practicing, sweating, banging, bruising, or flailing our bodies with abandon. We do this within our own borders by race, religion, gender, and demographics. To live the glory of battle and triumph! Never mind we are not in Rome, outfitted as a gladiator for the entertainment of the Emperor and his following. But without his "madness" Zarathustra would necessarily have been only another of the millions or billions of human individuals who have lived and then been forgotten." Our place in the world is confusing and leads one to accepted levels of madness. The blood could be real.Nick Oliva (O-lee-va?) has been a musician, composer, photographer, an audio engineer, an Entertainment Director and Technical Director for over twenty-five years and is a successful self-made money manager. In my lifetime I have been an athlete, a spectator and immersed into the mass hysteria of supporting one team or another. For example, a non-Zoroastrian could think of Zarathustra as simply a madman who led millions of naive followers to adopt a cult of ritual fire worship. When we watch these harmless battles on the field we somehow transfer the same "game" mentality to politics, to real human drama, to battle lines drawn in the sand. There is a dichotomy to this efficient "market approach" to these Darwinist dogfights. They are only "harmless" games. What do we go home with? At what cost? Thousands of years of these human games and what have we learned? Whether it is a diatribe on religious dogma or an oil-induced fever on foreign soil, it is the same act of imposing one's will upon another for whatever gratification there is be financial or egocentric. The singularity of purpose blinds those to any possible negative thoughts lest they show a mental Achilles heel. The problem is that in every competition there are losers but try telling that to either side at the beginning of the contest. They is us, and we become obsessed with the stadium-induced fever of living or dying for each play.We Nike TN Requin Spider Homme enjoy the bloodlust, the action, the rush of it all. So why then, the crazed intensity of playing favorites to the point of madness? What drives people to becoming rabid fans?In the motion picture "Invincible" a story is centered around Vince Papale, a long shot hometown boy that survives an open try-out, setup by new coach Dick Vermeil, to attempt to turn around the city's foul and miserable attitude towards the Philadelphia Eagles' abysmal record in the late nineteen seventies. A face-to-face smoke blowing confrontation and we begin the encroachment to set the scenario up so that we may throw the bombs to seal the victory. We do this internationally by the same denominators. It has always fascinated me to see people driven to violence by sporting events that will have no bearing on the ultimate fate of anyone but the players and team owners. Even "a beautiful mind" pondered the excesses of the human condition and I quote the following from him: "One aspect of this is that rationality of thought imposes a limit on a person's concept of his relation to the cosmos. The film captures the essence of the depressed populace (I was one of those people way back then as well) and I can attest to its authenticity of just how it was then. The higher our standard of living the more we accept to be able to continue to live in that higher standard. Each day holds the potential for the whistle to blow and the referees will be nowhere to be found. The machismo and bravado parade as an in-your-face taunt and every beat of momentum defines the scales of power given or taken. Perhaps when we are able to live for 150 years or so, we may have the wisdom to understand and control excessiveness of our petty discriminations and go beyond Adam Smith's philosophies and past John Nash's game theories as well to achieve "equilibrium" in worldly matters. I've watched over-ladened testosteroned bullies' frenzied frothing of violent outrage, should their team be threatened by a rival's presence within arms reach and that's just in the stands. All the while, jingoist rantings are used to define and justify the slaughter, to run up the score. The games have been on since the dawn of man and we are still trying to figure out how they are played. Website: View my blog and buy my latest book at http://www.onlymomentsbook.com.
